It is a highly functional app and the latest addition to the My Pain Diary family, which has aided over 90,000 chronic pain sufferers in managing their pain, enhancing communication with their doctors, and gaining valuable insights that would otherwise be difficult to attain.</p>

The app's creator is an individual who has firsthand experience with chronic pain while juggling a demanding day job and a young family. Alongside being formally trained in design, self-taught in programming, and experienced in marketing and customer relations, he is also a chronic pain patient himself. This unique combination of traits gives this app an advantage against larger players in the industry.</p>

<p><strong>ANATOMY OF A PAIN DIARY ENTRY</strong></p>

<p><strong>TRACKERS:</strong> Trackers act as labels or folders that categorize and differentiate your entries. They are essential for tracking more than one condition and comparing conditions to each other.</p>

<p>A common approach is to name the trackers after the diseases/conditions you are tracking, such as Migraines, Anxiety, Fibromyalgia, etc. These are just examples.</p>

<p><strong>METRICS:</strong> Each entry consists of one or more optional pieces of information called 'Metrics'. For instance, two commonly used metrics are 'Pain Intensity' and 'Pain Duration'. Metrics are associated with and shared among your trackers. This allows you to set up different metrics for different trackers, keeping your entry pages clean and reducing cognitive load.</p>
